roller coaster of emotions
This is the first series of books I have read by this author. This book alone caught me by surprise. I thought the first was quite emotional. I was not sure what I was about to read. Beware of some inhumane scenes. Dirty. Gross. Sad.
Odessa is that girl who you think you know. She's quiet, selfless, happy, but an outsider. She is just trying to make it in the world and make a life for herself, fit in and belong somewhere.
Deep inside Odessa, there's darkness, something she thinks is evil, something that scares her. She is not dark. She is not evil. She is not what she thinks she is, or what anyone else thinks she is either.
