Escaping to Montana

Where does Grace: Bride of Montana rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of the top ten that I have listened to. The narrator was wonderful, the story mesmerizing.

What did you like best about this story?

I love that Grace and Frey's relationship was allowed to evolve. They became friends first.

What does Lara Asmundson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoyed the narration. She brought the characters to life.

Any additional comments?

What a great continuation of all the past characters that we have grown to love in Ms. Holland's books.

(I was given a copy of the audio-book by the author for a review.)

Great addition to the series loved it

I know when ever I pick up a book from this author it is going to be a good listen. The plot was so entertaining, filled with heartbreak, I love watching these two so unsure but willing to give it a try to find love even through their hearts have been broken. It was a pleasure watching them to learn to trust and lean on each other. Building a life and love that will last. There is a little danger, lots of laughter filled with getting to know each other and those around them. It was a touching listen that kept me entertained for hours.

It is always a delight to listen to a book that Lara Asmundson has narrated. She has always been able to bring the story to life for me. Her different character voices are outstanding as she pulls you and takes you away. There are no background noises only a wonderfully clear wonderful voice that is a pleasure to listen to. There was one mistake where it should have been head not hug but beside that there were no other issues. There were no repeating of words. You have no trouble knowing who is talking her male voices are as wonderful as her female ones. Her tones let you know what each character emotions are as she pulls you in giving you a story you cannot put down.

Nothing

This book just doesn't get your attention. And the last chapter about the Author was NOT needed.

A Wonderful Journey

This was simply wonderful. Debra Holland has written a story of the how life can take you on a different path, but it was the one you needed all along. Grace is one of the girls who lost their job from the factor they worked in burning down. Through a series of events she ends up a mail order bride to a man in Montana, Frey had been working hard to build his business and he advertised for a mail order bride. These two meet and it is a journey or friendship and understanding that leads love. The narrator Lara Asmundson was truly spot on in her voices and with the heartfelt words of Debra Holland, I could only sigh as it ended.
But! I love the cover and the story that was shared at the end!!

Wonderful

A wonderful book but leaves questions that hopefully will lead to a continuation of Grace's journey. I loved seeing the like and admiration grow into love as book characters healed their broken hearts. I really look forward to reading more of Debra Holland's books.

could have been better...

it seems like the storyline was forced. Very disappointed that there was no mention of a confrontation between Grace & her boyfriend! a huge piece was missing from this story.

I love Debra Holland's writing! 10🌟 and 10 💗!

Debra Holland writes about people who fall in love with each other in a gentle and calm pace. There isn't the jumping in bed or falling in lust, it is the slow, growing love mixed with longing that makes her characters feel real.

After reading her books, you feel like you're there with them, you yearn for them to be happy, and feel like you have witnessed their story in person. Her books are clean yet real.

Lara did an amazing job narrating the story and made each character stand out. She was fabulous and it would take a fabulous narrator to do justice to Debra's books.

A different prospective

I listened to Bride of Montana tonight; I had read the book when it was first released and really liked it then. Tonight listening to it it seemed more alive and interesting. I have really enjoyed the audible version and think I'll "reread" other books that I've enjoyed.
