best audio book ever!

This story already encapsulates so much excitement and mystery. Add the voices, sound effects and music and it begins to feel real. I hit play and my mind gets lost to the many possibilities of the vastness of space! will most likely listen to all 47 hours again!

Quite an experience!

This was put together quite well. Many voices with a soundtrack! Sucks you right in. I'm well into it and really enjoying it.

But the music at the end of each chapter gets to be annoying. The storytelling was enjoyable.

The best audio book ever.

I love to read. I listen to books while on road trips, while hiking, or just doing chores around the house. This performance of Battlefield Earth was amazing. I've read the book at least three times but listening to it brought so many new pictures and sounds into my mind. I highly recommend it to Battlefield Earth fans and anyone that might think they'd be interested. Absolutely Amazing.

Amazing book

This book gets better every time I read it. This time I purchased the audio version and I couldn't stop listening. I'm on my 2nd time through and I'm getting more out of it than I got the first time. The performance is mind blowing. So many different voices, such beautiful music and sound effects that make you feel like you are there. Not to mention that the story itself is exciting all the way through the end. Not a boring moment and a perfect end!

Good insight into the mind of LRH

I listened to this story several years after reading the book originally and it was very entertaining. I wish all audiobooks were this engaging.

Judging the book alone, it has a good start, a poor middle and a poor end.

If you are interested in L. R. Hubbard or the origin of his Cult’s practices, this story provides some very clear insights to how that organization operates. The main characters appear to be a rather transparent reflection of Hubbard’s behavior during his twilight years; primarily his overtly paranoid and manipulative behavior.

Overall, this was a rather drawn out and long winded novel. The only thing that kept me captivated was the extraordinary life of that of the author. And in that case, I simply finished the book to see where he endsd it. The ending was non existant, though.

great read!

I started this book a couple of weeks ago as a physical copy and loved it. I finished it just the other day after thinking I never would but after slowly chewing it down I proudly finished. finding it as an audio book made me so excited and the performance by the voice actors are top quality.

its a definate must have for any sci-fi fan!

Simply the best book & audiobook

I am an avid reader (listener) of science fiction and aspiring science-fiction writer. Battlefield Earth leaves nothing to be desired. Production quality of the audiobook is nothing short of fantastic. Having listened to numerous audiobooks on audible and other places, I find the production of Battlefield Earth mind-blowing!

Furthermore, the story take on a life of its own. There elements of every possible type of genre conceivable. There are times when the story takes on a mystery vibe, Then a few minutes later it's turned into a detective type story, or Romance.

This is pure science fiction, but the characters seem so very real.

I found myself wanting more time to listen to it on a daily basis.

One of my favourite books, even better.

This is an epic cast who has done a fantastic job of bringing this book to life. Very entertaining, difficult to put down.
