Chronicles of the Host is a fantastic novel of the beginning of all things. Follow Lucifer's deceptive plans to rule over Earth and his inevitable fall from grace.

love the realpolitik style of this story.

Essentially this is a really solid discourse on the nature of servitude. can your Free will really be such if you are created to Literally serve a specific purpose? I also like the much more political style of this story, the critiques of old guard acedemics etc.

please a new narrator

This story would come alive with the right narrator. Stuart sounds like he's reading a bedtime story to a child.

Incredible story of creation and the fall of lucifer!!

I have read these books in the past and Mr Schafer does an excellent job of storytelling by showing what happens not only in the natural realm but also the supernatural realm. I recommend them to everyone not only for the storytelling but also they show the great love and mercy of our Lord.

Great story, narration struggles

One of my favorite series. Such an interesting perspective, even though fictionalized, on the spiritual warfare in heaven. The narrator’s voices and seeming struggle to change them at the right time is a big distraction that took awhile to get past. Some might turn it off before realizing the value of the story.
