After listening to this book I wanted to find the rest of the series so I read other views. I am not a book connoisseur, but when I read the reviews of this book I was surprised at the criticism. To me reading is like watching a movie in slow motion. If I can picture what is being described, then it is like I am there and feeling their emotions and visualizing the scenery. Writing is definitively a skill very few people possess. If I am not drawn into a story, I move on. Someone else may find it fascinating. Spewing negative comments from behind an internet vail of who you are is sad. Try saying positive things, it will make your life better and a nicer place to live.

The Start of Something Good! !

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this story. But I decided to listen to it after all. I'm so glad I did because I like the different characters and their stories. Nora Roberts has created another winner!! The narrator did a great job!!

Excellent Again

Loved it. Nora Roberts does it again. Can't wait for the next book. A better writer I have never read or listened to. Keep them coming.

First Nora Roberts book, it won't be the last

I listened to the narrator bwfor choosing as some voices put me to sleep, but Saskia Maarleveld did a marvelous job bringing the six characters to life. The plot is both interesting and exciting with lots of action and relationship building going on in this first book, I guessed what a couple of the characters gifts were, but it didn't mean I wasn't surprised when twists were revealed. I've got book two tonliaten to next, Corfu has always been a place I wanted to visit, hopefully one day, but I've enjoyed my virtual trip thanks to the great descriptions from Ms. Roberts.
