The writing, especially the descriptions, really transport me into the story so smoothly and comfortably - it feels like it's happening to me - I have to survive, to save humanity. Well done, Alexia! Truly amazing talent!

Hands down one of my favorite authors and series!!!

Wow! I've read the book twice and didn't think I could love it anymore. but listening to it takes it to a whole new level. Amplified lives up to its name. It's a wild ride right from the start and will keep you up late in to the night. I love this author, this series and book 3 does not disappoint. I love the strength of the friendships and seeing the humanity in April come out as she struggles to adapt to this new life. It keeps you guessing with the unexpected twist and turns and I love the way the book ends. 5 stars in my book! Bring on book 4 and bring on the movie!!

Action packed!

Would you listen to Amplified again? Why?

Yes, because I love the drama that the narrator puts into the story. And, the story itself is good.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character is Elijah. He's strong and doesn't let things get to him. Very level headed but, knows when to step up and help.

What about Anne Marie Susan Silvey’s performance did you like?

I loved everything! She's an amazing narrator.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Well, sure...and get angry/irritated. I'm always an emotional reader.

Amazing

I really enjoyed this series and can't wait for more. I loved April and Rye's Story an how she finds her friend after so long. it makes you wonder if this will actually happen. And if it does would we survive.. I love how Alexia brought all the different parts of Vegas together old and new. I truly enjoyed reading the series.

Searching For Answers

The Narrator does a really good job of voicing the characters and keeping up with the action. I really enjoy listening to her performance. I would definitely listen to more titles narrated by her.



This series must be read in order. The first book is Resonant. The second book is Reign Of Blood. The third book is Disarming. This is the fourth book. I can't wait to read Fluxion!


April trusts Christian about as far as she could have thrown him before the plague, blood bond or no blood bond. Now she just has to keep remembering that as they search for his old hive. Rick is there and he is the only person who knows what he did to her mother. The only thing April has left of her mother is questions... And she NEEDS answers! Otherwise she is afraid the not knowing will eat what is left of her insides and she will become a hollow shell of a person just existing for no good reason. Will Christian's hive welcome him back and help them? Or will they see the return of Christian with unknown hybrid vamps and humans as a threat? Will Rick even still be alive? Will he answer her questions? Or is this all some elaborate trap? Can you betray your "mate" or are you now genetically programmed to be completely loyal?



***This series is suitable for mature young adult through adult readers who enjoy post apocalytal horror adventure survival coming of age stories with a bit of romance and loads of suspense :)
