The non-stop zombie humor kicks into high gear when Cathren is bitten by an unfrozen head of the undead. Instead of turning into a zombie, she becomes some kind of half-breed, decaying and regenerating body parts while keeping both her human consciousness and her loving heart.

Good story, boring narrator

Andrew Tell has the same emotionless voice for every single situation in the book. Excited?- dull. Angry?- dull. Hordes of zombies out to kill everybody?-dull.

sophomoric writing

"yes yes yes yes". No. Some aspects were just plain annoying. I struggled through hoping that this would improve. No such luck.
