Publisher's summary

Alone without friends or family to comfort her after the death of her mother, Willow Finley's idyllic life is over - and just beginning.

When Willow Finley awakes on a hot summer morning, she is unprepared for the grief that awaits her. Jerked from a life of isolation with her mother, Willow learns what alone really means when she finds her mother still in her bed, never to awaken again in this life.

From the moment Willow arrives in the police station with her startling announcement, Chad Tesdall fights the friendship he knows he can't avoid.

This collection of the first five episodes of Past Forward starts with Willow's life-changing discovery and gently guides the listener through aspects of her life - the past weaving through the present and into the future. Experience her first morning in church, her first movie, and the culture shock of her first trips to the city. A birthday party and a street fair add welcome diversion from butchering, canning, and the beating of area rugs. Disaster strikes. Will she be able to continue her life, or will an offer in the city change it all? Find out in this first volume.

Follow as Willow's story unfolds past forward.

Past Forward is a serial novel released weekly on Kindle.

Great reader of a terrific book!

What did you love best about Past Forward?

I have been reading this author since she first started writing. I have always loved her books. I was quite nervous about listening to this book and if the reader would live up to my impressions. Boy was I wonderfully surprised.

What other book might you compare Past Forward to and why?

I would compare this specific book to the Mitford Series but with another punch to it that the Mitford Series doesn't have.

What does Sarah Pavelec bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Sarah brought Willow alive to me. She had the perfect voice and it was exactly like I pictured Willow's voice to sound.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Honestly, I've read the entire series so I don't want to give anything away. The entire series is worth the read and can't wait until more gets on Audible.

Any additional comments?

This is a terrific author and I can't wait for more of her books to be on audible.

Great story & performance, but

I am Giving only 4 stars overall as the guitar strumming was a bit bothersome.

A wonderful blessing

Willow lives a simply life. Willow will make you laugh, cry, and think about your relationship with God. Seeing things through Willow's eyes makes you see things in a whole new light. This story is uplifting and fun. I have re-read this series many times and keep finding new things.

This is apart of me now!

I love this book. Willow has become a part of my being. I have read this series several times and loved it. This is my first time hearing it on audible. The narrator does a great job. I highly recommend.

Ho-hum. Tedioius. Wearisome.

I listened to the first book in the Aggie series by this author, and I was hooked! Since I couldn't get the rest on audio, I read the rest of that series. Then I was thrilled to see Past Forward on audio. But alas! It is very hum-drum, boring, blasé. The initial idea of a girl who was raised by her mother and had never even been in a car is a great story-line, but there's too much repetition of the same ideas. Get on with the story!
