I always forget how much I like Valiant until I re read his book. He is just so exotic.
We all need a man who would lay down their life for you. His whole reason to live became Tammy. And no one was more surprised over that than Valiant.

He wanted a mate, but he never expected it to be a human. Tammy wasn't looking for someone but she was quiet literally shocked by Valiant.
These two really do complement each other, she isn't afraid to stand up to him when he is being to much maleness. And he just wants to make her happy.

I loved this installment of the series and can’t wait to continue it.

Vanessa does a great job with each character, loveeeed this audio so much.

Sooo good! MINE!!!

I really like the New Species series... however not all the books are on the same level...

Book 1 was great, but book 2 fell short to me. This one was awesome! I actually think this one was a bit better than book 1. Only slightly. I love the whole possessive alpha male thing...

I love they way this book started... with Valiant and others in a showdown of dominance because the human invaded his territory.. Then he grabs her up and makes her his!!! It was awesome. The whole book was pretty darn good.

I'm loving the intensity of this book, the sense of honor, family and love. And I'm interested to know more about each character and their interactions with others.

Tammy and Valiant

Valiant was one frightening New Species but when he sees and has his Tammy, all bets are off. He falls hard for her. There are some suspenseful moments when Tammy is kidnapped twice and Valiant did not rest until he found her. This book is so good, I have listened to it twice. The ending is great! Vanessa Chambers did an awesome job with the narration.

Book 3 is just as good and the previous

Laurann Dohner does it again with this next book 3 in the "new species" series. She keeps it exciting. This isn't just a "tame" book. It is very heart pounding. Not only for the suspense and terror, but for the steamy sex too. The best thing Laurann, or the publisher, does is to put a chapter at the end to introduce you to the next book. Gets me every time. As soon as I finish this one, I move on to the next book. Great idea. THX

Loved reading NS, but this one ~not my fav

I have read the whole new species series, and these reviews based on reading them all and then reviewing.
I loved reading Fury, that book had mostly believable characters and good storyline. This is the second book in the New Species series. There is a lot more underlying dominance that I enjoy reading about however this one just didn't have believable characters. I really don't think any female would want to spend the rest of her life caged up in a house in the middle of a forest around other NS not wanting to live around humans, and just basically used for a sex toy pacifier. Although the characters progressed, both male and female progressed into confident characters, I didn't get that warm fuzzy by the end of the book that they would be able to live happily ever after. I kind of get the vibe that the author may not have written this to her expectations either. The reason why I say this is because in future books Valiant is sometimes referred to as still being single, not having a mate. Would I recommended this reading? Absolutely. this series is very enjoyable and one of the best sci-fi erotic romance is out there.

I just love his "cave man" style! What woman wouldn't want a man to take care of her! He's so possessive and I loved that about him! And I love that the story keeps you up on the previous characters.

Valiant is a bad ass and a sweetie

He picked the right woman to be his mate. She could talk back to him and make him behave. This series is so interesting.

It’s good but the same

The story’s are good. Nearly great but it’s kinda the same story as the ones before.
Man species meets human female and fall in love. Fight it but ends up true love. She gets into trouble by the same bad guys and he saves her.
I wish they mix things up. What about the female species. Don’t they fall into love.
Other then that they ended this story better then the book 2.
Reader was good too but did not like the female character so much. Maybe it’s the way she was read or just the person herself. Kinda like a teenager.
I hope the next book has a strong female lead.
