This episode of The Green Hornet first aired on August 10, 1946.

The Green Hornet debuted on a Detroit station, WXYZ, on January 31, 1936, and later aired on the Mutual and ABC Blue networks until its final broadcast on December 5, 1952. The masked crime fighter was the secret identity of newspaper publisher Britt Reid, who relied on his valet, Kato, and a supercharged roadster, the Black Beauty. Al Hodge portrayed The Green Hornet during the series' first seven seasons, followed by Donovan Faust, Robert Hall, and Jack McCarthy. The series was created by the same team that brought The Lone Ranger to the air.

Where does Axford Makes a Deal rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Wonderfully portrayed and I was glad to have one of the regular characters take a bigger role in this episode.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mike Axford, as he made a deal he thought he couldn't lose, just as a lot of us would have.

Which scene was your favorite?

The scene where Britt Reid tried to reason with Mike, and he re-acted just like I thought he would, and the same way many of us would have too.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Without a doubt!

Any additional comments?

It was good to have Mike take the lead for this episode, which was well written and never once did it over shadow out real heroes the Green Hornet and Kato!

What a Swindle-rific Episode!

What can I say. Seriously G rated show, and just a little corny, but enjoyable.

Still Great
