Perfect Series Ending

Awakened By Grace is the third and final book in the Divined Fate Trilogy and it did not disappoint. Ryn's journey concludes with her taking charge and making some not so easy decisions. Watching Ryn grow through out the series I didn't always like her but after this book I love who she has become. I am sad to see the series end but the author wrapped up the series perfectly. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story and characters to life. I look forward to more from this author.

Great end to a wonderful series!

Each one of the grace books is as good as the next. It is the kind of story you can read out of order without getting lost, but reading all the books only enhances the character development.

My favorite part about the books is that it isn’t a Christian-based angel story. I like how the author came up with something new and engaging.

I only wish there were more books on the horizon. 😉

We learn the truth about demons

This is the third book I’ve read/listened to by this author. I’ve listened to the other two books in this trilogy. Now I’d like to try something else by her.

Ryn wants to be a Davina, but does not believe it is necessary to kill the Demons, or continue to fight with them. Grace is compelling, she seems to be their answer, but she’s hiding the truth. The adults are blinded by history and the prejudices that come with it. Instead, we see Ryn and her friends becoming more confident, stronger and more assertive. It’s up to the kids to make everyone see there is hope for their races and a better way to survive in this world. It won’t be easy.

This is the third book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Natalie Naudus ) and I would listen to another. Aside from the adult, she does teen voices well- both male and female. Her narration style is good and she brings out the action in the story.

There are no explicit sex scenes, excessive violence or swearing. They are a good listen for teen and older. Uncomplicated and entertaining.

And the story comes to an end

It was a good conclusion to the trilogy. That being said, Grace was a bi/%# most of the book and most divina were just brainwashed by her. It has some similarity with the end of the first trilogy of the Mortal Instruments, in that old enemies unite to fight for their survival and become allies. The new powers appeared to be deus ex maquina at first, but were latter better explained and seem acceptable enough. In the end all's well that ends well. I appreciate the clear cut good ending with no cliffhanger.

Well... I didn't see that coming

It's your destiny to awaken Grace... You awaken Grace... Mission accomplished right?... Wrong!

I couldn't help but feel sorry for Ryn in this book, here she is, doing what she's supposed to do and things are not going right, in fact things keep getting worse. I love the story though, lots of exciting stuff happening with a helping of good old teen-aged angst. I loved the ending, which I won't give away, except to say that it was not what I was expecting.

Grace herself was a massive disappointment, after all the buildup in the first two books I was expecting a hero, and all I got was a person with more power than normal. That will teach me to have unrealistic expectations.

The narration is well done, great character voices and a dynamic well paced delivery.

Great Conclusion!

This is the third book in this trilogy. I love the conclusion of this amazing and entertaining Series. This last book is well written, as the first books in the Series. This story is entertaining and fast-paced. I love the characters, the scenery and the story. I also love how Ryn grew up and how strong she became. Ryn and Marek are great together. The Epilogue is beautiful and hopeful. The narration was really great and easy to listen to, as always with Natalie Naudus. She has a soft and beautiful voice and her male voice is really great. She does an excellent narration with all voices and it's really easy to distinguish them. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Best randomly chosen series.

Really good job. I was pleasantly surprised with this whole series.
My only gripe was that the second book could have been shortened and split between the first and last books.
Aside from that, this was all well written, very well narrated and kept me entertained the whole time.
It was very refreshing to have a different take on the idea of "Angels/Demons" if you will..
The characters were all built well, seemed real and stayed consistent to who they were.

I was provided each book in this series for free in exchange for an honest review.... but honestly, in retrospect, I would have bought them.

well done to all.
