Earth, 2144. And underlying it all is one fundamental question: is freedom possible in a culture where everything, even people, can be owned?

Superb worldbuilding, with a strong narrative

Fantastic world with compelling characters and no two-dimensional villains or heroes. This is a novel, morally complex take on a well-tread genre.
