Inspirational, should be a must read in all history classes.

Loved every word. Saddened that change is still coming slowly. I pray that we as people will keep evolving with with kind hearts and open ears.

Mixed Feelings

I have mixed feelings. Henry Ford: nauseating. Just skip all of that part. Benjamin Franklin: wonderful. deep and rich insights into the mind of a great man. Newton, Galileo, and Tesla: left wanting. There's less information about these great men than what you would expect to find in a fourth graders book report.

a chapter in the tesla chapters is a chapter from Ford's book. other than that, it's great.

A life lived to the full.

Lovely booked which inspires hope even today. I was left wanting more. The narration is superb and the original scripts from Martin Luther King Jnr adds another dimension

The audio clips add a great deal of power to this book. The letter and journal writings truly make it come alive. I'm glad I selected and listen to the Kings great words.

Nice integration of narrative & original speeches

This was a better read by listening than in print because there are so many great speeches interspersed. Not only is this of historical importance, but full of wisdom on the nature of principled leadership, the practical and mor power of non-violence, anti-marxist revolution for those most in need,

A Treat to hear Agatha tell her own Story

Listening to Agatha Christie's biography was such a great treat. She will forever be my favorite mystery writer.

Quality of recording needs improvement!

I loved hearing the audiobook even though the quality was not the best as there was a lot of static. Agatha Christie has always been one of my favorite authors and it was great hearing her tell her own story.

Wonderful collection about the most amazing people

Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Specially inspired by Ben Frankin. Tesla autobiography also shows why he was one the best inventors of all time. Henry Ford gave experiences of life in general too. Newton and Galileo Galilei's were perhaps too short.

Outstanding American Literature

A novel of the highest order. Unmatched in its descriptive nature, and emotional evocation. I so enjoyed listening to this book. The imagery is incredible and the narrator has a very soothing voice. I often listened to it while falling asleep.

Awesome

An exquisite and tough minded classic dog story beautifully written and performed. This was my late Uncle’s favorite book when he was a boy over eighty years ago and still speaks to me today. Loved it!

Ioved listening to this book as much as I did reading it as a kid. Still very relevant to live. Narration was wonderful. I hope kids today are still reading this fine book.

After all these years...

This was not required listening in my New York City High School, so, after seeing the movie, I decided to read the book. As a first experience with audio books since being a commuter it did not disappoint. Switching between reading and audio was a great way to give tired eyes a break. The narrator was excellent.

It's always interesting to learn more about someone so famous. Good listen. I was given this book by the narrator, author or publisher free for an honest review.

Ben Franklin is a great American Hero, but I want to know more. The autobiography tells a lot I did not know and gives you an insight into a sell taught man. Great book!!!

Only problem is where it strops.

Excellent detailing of Ben Franklin's youth and pre-revolutionary business, diplomatic endevours, service to Pennsylvania and his countrymen. Good insight to his beliefs and thought process as well as a look into the colonial time period. Does not detail the revolution or beyond.

Great lessons from a great man

So much to learn from one of the most important people of all time. Very interesting trip through the past as well. Ends abruptly, wish he would've written even more. Narrator sounds like he came from that time.
