Not your average teen fantasy

I love this series about older women serving as mentors on an alien world. Their life experiences enabled them to help the younger characters fulfill their quests. Delightful story telling. Great narration. I'd give it a 5 if some of their conundrums took deeper struggles to resolve. Book 2 resolves all the pieces of the quests left from book 1.

Imaginative

The story is imaginative and entertaining. Great casual listen and the humor and wisdom are solid. There is a nice light hopefulness to this series.
