Publisher's Summary

A Blackstone Fortress audio drama

A pair of explorers discover a dangerous - and invaluable - artefact deep in the Blackstone Fortress. Can they get it to safety?

Listen to it because:

Find out how some of the newer explorers in the Blackstone Fortress go about their adventures - and what they seek in the darkness.

The story:

The Arch-Militant Neyam Shai Murad and the noble crusader Gotfret de Montbard have retrieved a great prize from the Blackstone Fortress - a cube they found with the help of an unscrupulous data-trader. This mysterious artefact may answer all their questions about the alien labyrinth...if they can return it to Precipice. Many dangers stand in their way, including a rampaging ambull, Negavolt cultists and the ever-shifting maze of the fortress itself. And even if they do return, they shall need aid to decipher the device, from a most untrustworthy ally....

very short, not very good

split in three, I purchased them all on sale. if sold as a bundle might be better, but the story is greatly lacking. it's one of those action romp dramas, that doesnt really go anywhere.

Set up...?

The story is a bit pointless and the constant exposition and discription by the characters is a bit grating at times, but it's all done well. The usual Black Library/GW standard of quality is maintained, and it's always good to get a audio drama set in the Blackstone Fortress so, hopefully, later chapters (there are three) will flesh things out a bit and bring the whole thing together into a great story. It's just a bit "eh?" right now...
