"Oh, Tilly," Eroica exclaimed, "you certainly know how to work magic with a sewing machine. This dress is beautiful. I feel like a princess."
"You look like one, too," said Tilly, as she continued pinning the hem.
Just then, a knock sounded on Eroica's front door.
"I'm not finished with this hem, so you can't budge," Tilly ordered, going to answer the door.
As the front door opened, an autumn breeze went scurrying through the house, sending pins and veil netting flying.
"Come in, and shut the door," Tilly greeted the young man on the doorstep, while she chased after pins.
"Hello." Mark Wallace came in and hurried to shut the door.
Mark and Eroica just stared at each other. Eroica, wondering why she cared that Mark Wallace saw her in a wedding dress. Mark, shocked to find himself looking at her as someone else's bride.
"I guess congratulations are in order," he finally said.

Eroica Hamilton, named after Beethoven's Third Symphony, is a piano major at the Deseret College of Music. Years earlier, she had met a handsome young cellist at a music camp, and she had felt drawn to him-that they were meant to be together. But, she can't find him. No matter how many concerts and recitals and music workshops she attends. Should she keep looking for him? Or should she open her heart to a new love?
