The Zodiac was (and still could be) a serial killer who operated in the northern California and San Francisco Bay are in the late 1960's and early 1970's. After a string of murders and a multitude of written letters and codes which were mailed to the local newspapers and police, the murdered was never captured. Murders and attacks around the country over the last half century may have been linked to this one man, and he could still be out there. This book is not about the man. IT DOES NOT TELL HIS STORY!!! The story of the Zodiac has been told and retold hundreds of times in books, movies, and T.V. shows. If you want to read a book about the story of the Zodiac, there are hundreds out there. This book is about something that has for the most part been ignored, solving his cryptograms and codes. In this book, you will see things you have never seen before. You will see a completely new approach to solving the codes and the mystery of the Zodiac Killer. It all started when it was discovered that a bomb drawing created by the Zodiac, was not a bomb drawing at all. But a key for a section of map of the San Francisco Bay area, that actually marks locations as well as a section of highway with a string of bombs. From there, the pieces started falling into place. Different clues started to make sense which led to many more discoveries. One if which turned out to be the location of a 1969 unsolved murder of a nine year girl, which was marked in an overlay in the map. The book does offer a chapter which describes in brief detail an overview of all of the Zodiacs known victims to give new readers a familiarity with the story, but the story is not what draws so many people to this case. It is the mysterious symbols and unsolved codes (which has not been written about nearly enough) that captivates the imagination and beguiles millions of new people into learning about the Zodiac, every year. This book is entirely dedicated to the codes and letters written by the enigmatic Zodiac. Unlike most books, this book will show you things you have never seen before, something real, and offer insights into solving the rest of the riddle. This book will show you the first steps by showing you how the Zodiac intended for his map to be used, the rest is up to you. It offers an overview of the many different kinds of coding systems that Zodiac could have and did use in his cryptograms besides what is called "just a simple substitution cipher". One of Zodiacs most famous unsolved codes is referred to as the "340 cipher". Named so because of the 340 bizarre symbols laid out in a grid formation that comprise the puzzle. After half a century of failing to solve this puzzle as a simple substitution code, it is time to consider new avenues of thought. This book will show you new things about the 340 code, and it's connection to other things that were created by the Zodiac, as well as its connection to his map. This book will show you but you have to make up your mind for yourself. Using this book, someone out there may be able to solve the rest of the puzzle. It also offers insights into other codes that are yet to be discovered hidden in the very letters written by the killer. He often used misspelled words and bad grammar in his letters and codes. This was done on purpose for what could be many different reasons. One is to make his codes harder to solve, other could be clues or codes themselves hidden in his letters. As an example, this book has some of the same techniques incorporated into it. While it offers several challenging puzzles of its own, it also has some that are hidden right in front of you. The when the Zodiac letters and codes are combined into one work, they create the puzzle book of a madman. that is one of the things that has been overlooked for over half a century. They say the definition of insanity is to keep trying the same things and expecting different results. It is time to try new things and work together. Accept the Challenge?
