内容紹介
佐賀怪猫伝「その十五 宿直の侍」(36分)
鍋島家に祟る半面斑の烏猫。その正体は鍋島の客分であった龍造寺又八郎の妻、まさの化身だった。盲目の息子、龍造寺又七郎、高井検校が、鍋島丹後守光茂に切りつけられ、無残な最期を遂げた。まさは生きながら畜生道に入り、怪猫となって、鍋島の家に祟るのであった。 佐賀城内の梅のご殿。ここには鍋島丹後守のご愛妾、お豊の方の部屋がある。梅のご殿の壁には、盲人の幽霊が出るという噂がある。佐賀城下の商人、但馬屋伝助、木屋藤兵衛、松葉屋勘蔵の三人。月に一度の頼母子講があって、酒を飲み、いい気持ちになった。四ツ半といいますから、現在の午後十一時頃。三人が佐賀のお堀端を歩いていると、ニャーッと現れたのが大猫。
佐賀怪猫伝「その十六 伝六郎の闇討ち」(33分)
佐賀城内、梅のご殿の近辺において、異変が重なり、鍋島家の三勇士、小森半左衛門、高木三平、伊東惣太は、ご愛妾、お豊の方が怪しいと考える。折しも、鍋島家の槍術指南役、関伝六郎はお豊の方に呼ばれ、梅のご殿に出向く。お豊の方は美しい眉をひそめ、「近頃、梅のご殿のお庭先の植え込みなどに、男の足跡がある。これは江戸の隠密の仕業に違いない。石田来助の調べによればその隠密は高木三平と申し、城内鳩部屋に足軽として住み込んでいる。人知れず殺すしかない」という。
佐賀怪猫伝「その十七 お豊の正体」(29分)
お豊付きの老女、浪路と関伝六郎は、佐賀の城下を荒らす怪猫、お豊の方が怪しいと睨んだ。深夜、浪路はソッと伝六郎を梅のご殿に引き入れ、二人でお豊の方の寝所の、隣の部屋に、火鉢を用意し、マタタビをくすべた。すると、今までスヤスヤと美しい寝顔を見せていたお豊が、パチリと目を開いた。しばらくにおいを嗅いでいたが、頭を上げて周囲を見回し、なおもしきりににおいを嗅ぎながら、スーッと布団から這い出てきた。
佐賀怪猫伝「その十八 怪猫の破牢」(27分)
怪猫の正体を見破った鍋島家の三勇士。夜の内に梅のご殿の周囲に護摩札を貼り、しめ縄を張り巡らせ、怪猫が逃げられないようにした。万全の準備をして、一同はお豊の方の部屋になだれ込む。お豊はたちまち反面斑の烏猫と化し、飛鳥の如く、お庭先を逃げ回る。この時、梅のご殿から吹き出す黒煙。
「これは一大事だ。火事だ」
皆が火事に気を取られているすきに、築山に隠れていた石田来助。石田は元竜造寺家の用人で、人間であるが怪猫の味方をしている。この石田がしめ縄をプツリと切った。
