Situated on the northeast shores of the Great Salt Lake, the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is one of the most important bodies of water in the Americas for migrating birds. Spanning over 73,000 acres, the refuge contains a variety of habitats and is managed by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Patricia L.
