Publisher's Summary

He is everything she doesn’t want, so why does she want him so badly?

From the New York Times best-selling author Penny Reid

One week.

Private beach.

Invisible girl.

Jerk-faced bully.

What’s the worst that could happen?

Kaitlyn Parker has no problem being the invisible girl, which is why she finds herself hiding in various cabinets and closets all over her college campus. Despite her best efforts, she can’t escape the notice of Martin Sandeke - bad boy, jerkface bully, and the universe’s hottest, wealthiest, and most unobtainable bachelor - who also happens to be Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner.

Kaitlyn might be the only girl who isn’t interested in exploiting his stunning rower’s build, chiseled features, and family's billionaire fortune. Kaitlyn wants Martin for his brain, specifically to tabulate findings of trace elements in surface water.

When Kaitlyn saves Martin from a nefarious plot, Martin uses the opportunity to push Kaitlyn out of her comfort zone: spring break, one week, house parties, bathing suits, and suntan lotion. Can she overcome her aversion to being noticed? Will he be able grow beyond his self-centered nature? Or, despite their obvious chemistry, will Martin be the one to drive Kaitlyn into the science cabinet of obscurity for good?

The story was pretty good, but...

Not a bad story, college “it” guy/rich jock/BMOC pursues socially awkward highly intelligent and unassuming girl (possibly with aspergers?). My dislike has nothing to do with the actual storyline, but with them selling half a book at full price and leaving the reader hanging. When you purchase this book, you only get the first 5 hours, and then the story literally gets cut off in the dead middle, so you have to buy the other half of the book at full price to hear the end of the story.
Jerk move, no thanks.

The worse book I've ever listened too.

I couldn't finish this book I got so mad. we are way passed the age where plucking some eye brows and dressing up for some guy gives women worth or makes her beautifu. That men determine if we are worth something while they act like total animals but its fine because they are good looking. Your writing set women back to years.

Where’s the rest off it

Don’t waste your coins. Cute story but incomplete. It reads like the author started writing the story and lost interest in the characters.

cute but not worth buying

It's a cute story but not worth the purchase. I can't believe this is the same author. They've taken what should be one book and tried to stretch it into a series. I would have probably continued the series if they properly ended their tale and had the next one about her friend or some of his crew.

young love

The book is a good listen. Parker seems very immature but very reflective over her actions.

Not-easy girls is easy for the right guy

I love Penny Reid's books in general. Her characters have great personalities and the storylines are always so interesting. This story, not at all. Everything seemed a bit of a stretch. The main girl was charming and a little weird, while the main guy was pretty dumb and just lives on his parents' success. I get that's part of the story, but still. It definitely felt like a college frat-house type of story. Lots of touching and groping and feeling - which sometimes doesn't bother me, but it was a little too raunchy for me. The girl who says she's not easy lets a guy get into her pants pretty quickly. There isn't a lot of depth to his character. He's a jerk. There's also farm more swearing than I like. And, the guy really is a jerk. The rapist in the story is also incredibly disturbing and I hate that it's not dealt with in this book. Also, this story lacked the chemistry I'm used to in Penny's books. This book was definitely rushed and the characters weren't built up well enough. I am very disappointed.

This is definitely a disappointing book. HOWEVER, here is the one big plus: Fiona Fischer did a GREAT performance. She was entertaining and draws you in. I really liked listening to her.

only part of a book

this is not a whole book. it stops in a really weird place. obviously the book is just broken up in random places to make you pay more for it. definitely not worth the, what, 3 credits or $39 to get the whole thing. instead of buying the rest, I'm just going to return it. it's a shame because I was actually enjoying it until it randomly stopped.

Not A Full Story - Very Dissatisfied

This book was very hard to read. I read series alot,.. There is a big pink elephant in the room named Ben the rapest, and maybe in the next 2 books we'll find out if anyone cares. The mom is a robot (probably). it is not going to be worth more money to find out if it gets better.
