Is she 12?

Timeless wisdom read by a giddy 12 yr. old girl. 😕

Narrator's voice was too gratingly "distracting"

Would you try another book from Neville Goddard and/or Hillary Hawkins?

I LOVE Neville Goddard's books. However, I would never buy a book narrated by Hillary Hawkins, again. I guess that everybody has their own things they respond to, and I seem to respond very negatively to a voice such as Ms Hawkin's. Her intonation and voice made it impossible for me to follow the book! I've never experienced anything like it, before. Instead of being able to focus on the words Neville Goddard wrote, I always lost my focus to her very animated, high-pitched voice.

What did you like best about this story?

I will purchase it as a Kindle book and will report back after reading it.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Hillary Hawkins?

Bob Loza, Mitch Horowitz, DJ Holte,

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Annoyance, disappointment, frustration

Any additional comments?

This review is not about the content of Neville Goddard's book, rather it is a reflection of my disapointment over the choice in narrator.

Cheesy narration

Enjoyed listening but narrator spoke in a very cheesy tone which, in my opinion, took away from what was being said.

Hawkins voice offensive for this amazing content that Goodard has written

Profound metaphysical knowledge preformed so poorly - Ms Hawkins voice is ineffective - more adept to perhaps a very young children's story

Too important for such a HORRIBLE narrator!!!!!!!

This material is far too good and important for this woman the publishers so foolishly chose! Her voice and clear inexperience should only EVER read children's books!!! I suspect that the publishers did this on purpose, as they maybe are skeptical of the material, and so assigned her. Her tone and inflection is so horrible, that unless you have a disciplined mind to focus on the material and listen past her childish tone, you will miss the message all together. She also lacks the basic understanding of just what she is reading. Based on her pauses and groupings of words, her tones and beat, together misconstrues the meaning of the author so the listener must be vigilant to "hear" beyond her fumbles. The publisher owes it to the reader/listener to re-record these master works by a narrator who knows what they are doing and doesn't read like a children's book. Not that it's just because it's a woman mind you, someone like Kate Reading would do this work justice, Hillary Hawkins is simply bad at what she does and should get a new day job!! Sorry, truth hurts!!

Great book spoiled by the narrator

A wonderful message and some real nuggets of enlightenment hidden in the most dreadful narration I've ever had to endure.
