Asylum is a stand-alone novel in the Star Kingdom universe. It introduces new heroes, but fans will enjoy visits with Casmir, Kim, Qin, Laser, Oku, and other favorites from the series.

You’ve done it again Lindsay! Another wonderful adventure with new characters mixing with well known Friends! I truly hope to find more adventures with these wonderful new Friends!

I love living in this universe

There is something so compelling about these stories and these characters! I loved the two new voices we got in this story. Just like her other characters in the Star Kingdom series, they are wonderful to relate to and get to know. And of course, the impeccable Fred Burman is a delight to listen to. I would love to hear more from them in the future!

Enjoy the Story

it is nice that they still have fun things up their sleeves for all the little plots and twists that go on in the book. As I mentioned before it's a nice to have space opera that isn't full of curse words that younger listeners can't listen.

where is the next book

love the series and want to listen to more. great story line and funny, is a fun drama.

the possible future storyline

liked the simplicity of the story.. Seeing previous characters living their lives.. and continuing their efforts to make things better. It's been 3 yrs since the story written.. hope author gives us more. I'd live to see how the computer folks turn out.. do they create a new wormhole? And is earth ever found?

Even after 9 books...

I still can't pick a favorite character!! It's so rare to find a series that stay so stellar through 9 books, but I am going to miss the characters in this awesome series.

Once again wonderfully delicious space opera!

Sigh, I didn’t realize just how much I have missed this universe. Love the new characters along with the familiar ones. It is a fun storyline. Thank Lindsay for a great story. If you have listened to Star Kingdom you must get this one as well, you won’t be disappointed.

I have listened to this complete series 4 times and 4 times completely through and I highly recommend it. not just for the character driven, action filled storyline but the narration of Fred Berman is FANTASTIC!! I have over 12,000 audiobooks and the narrator can make or break a book. thank you Ms. Buroker and Mr. Berman for a wonderful, out of this world experience.
