Astrid

This is such a heart wrenching tale. The unexpected twist at the end makes it even more so.

JT Lawrence writes with such emotion. I felt like I was witnessing the events first hand. Roshina Ratnam’s performance really added to the experience.

Heartwarming and Heartbreaking

This short story is told from Astrid's mother's point of view. We all worry as parents about our children. Is the school they're attending sound, up to standard, are the teachers qualified, etc. However, what happens when not everything is as it appears? The story is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. The narration is well done by Roshina Ratnam. She truly brings the emotions of the characters through making this a wonderful listening experience.

Poignant and real

Touching story, thick with emotion and vividly written - I enjoyed the style. Easy listening voice.
