Episodic but interesting

This felt like a tv show that I joined mid season. I broke my own rule and started a series in the middle. That being said, there was enough background and one of the main plots (not all of them) was addressed in the end. Better than I thought if would be. Lots of action. Deep and detailed characters for its depth.
