I love Neil Gaiman but I think he basically plagiarized this entire book. Anyway both are great.

Great but short.

The History of the Gods have been around for years an this book is fast an quick. With just a quick look at the stories that define Norse mythology. If you are looking for a deep understanding of the Gods then self I would suggest Neil Gaiman he has wrote a book about the Gods himself an there is no real difference between the story's that are being told other then depth detail.

With that being said I myself like this book it is great an the narrator kept me entertained how he told the story's. The write also gives you the history of Odin an how he became All-Father, why he has one eye, Thor an his Hammer Miljoner how an why it was forged, an Ragnarok the end times.

too many discrepancies

I'm not personally a fan of the narrator. the way he spoke sounded juvenile. it was almost as if the myth of the Gods was a joke. there are far too many discrepancies and what seems like home made stories. I'm sorry just say this but I Give It 2 stars at best
