Publisher's summary

Long ago, ancient dragons sealed their powers inside magical artifacts to protect dragonkind from going extinct. Years after this event, the descendants of those dragons claimed their powers and gained the ability to shift into their ancient draconic forms. Three of the four set out to change the world and the way humankind viewed them. They formed an alliance and a set of rules that all dragons would live by in order to peacefully coexist with humanity.

The Queen of Ash, Akiri, refused to join this alliance, as she had other plans. She wanted to produce a clutch of eggs and protect her kingdom with a thunder of dragons, but when her lair was destroyed, Queen Akiri had to ask the dragon alliance for help. However, bad blood between Akiri and the leader of the alliance, Sophie Rend, could be the downfall of her kingdom.

Do you love dragons?

If you love dragons then you’ll definitely love this book. It has multiple POVs, which took me some time to get use to but overall it was an enjoyable quick read/listen.

Dragon

so I just finished this book, and I will tell you what I'm in love with all the characters. it took me a little while to get used to the back and forth between characters, but soon, it got easier to follow. I was transported into this world, and I need to know what happens next.

Dragons!!

Dragons! That’s what hooked me!!! Dragons, liars, betrayal, and did I say dragons? There are so many things that happen in this story, and it’s really hard to tell any of them without giving something away!!! I couldn’t put this down!!!

Hmmm...

Where to start. The narration and post production of this book was better than the first. But I feel like this was longer than it needed to be. And the author added "spicy" scenes that did nothing for the story. There was no real lead up to these scenes. It felt like they just jumped into them. I feel as though the "spicy" scenes could have been left out, made it a fade to black book, and it would have fit better with the over all writing and feel of the book. This book felt very YA until those scenes. It also took well over half way through the book to get to any kind of plot. Until then, it felt like a "day in the life" kind of book and it was honestly a bit boring.
