Hilarious and Very real

What made the experience of listening to This Time Together the most enjoyable?

I loved it because it was real and she never held back anything. Also, I am glad that they got Carol Burnett to read the book. She really gave it a good personality.

Her stories are priceless

Carol speaks in such a way that it transforms into a mental video of heartwarming humor and heartbreaking emotion. She is talent wrapped in goodness. What a sweet spirit and treasure to us all. I look forward to her Netflix show.

Yes, I would recommend this audiobook to a friend. It was candid, funny and interesting and those of us who watched her faithfully as children, would LOVE it.

What did you like best about this story?

As a child, I grew up watching The Carol Burnett Show on television. My whole family watched it together, and I especially loved watching my father absolutely crack up while watching. I mimicked her, adopted her humour and wanted to BE Carol Burnett. lol So what did I like best? I liked feeling that she was talking to me as a friend and telling me intimate details about her life.

It had to be she as herself, of course.

The book made me laugh and cry, but mostly laugh.

What did you love best about This Time Together?

The best part is that Carol Burnett is still Carol Burnett. Timeless. Funny. Most importantly, REAL. A good person having lived a good life, who gets it that she's been really blessed, Carol is a delight to listen to. Unafraid to show real emotion in her telling of her own story, this is the best audible I've heard in 15 years of listening. Well done, lady!
