Editorial reviews

In Blink-182: A Rockview Audioblog, music fan Pete Bruen presents an unauthorized look at this '90's rock band that has sold over 35 million albums. Utilizing both narration and interview clips, Bruen examines issues of interest to the band's fans, from the loss of drummer Travis to the group's notorious foul mouths and their loyalty to one another. Bruen's tone is conversational and upbeat while his pacing is leisurely. This short audioblog will entertain both die-hard and casual fans of Blink-182.

Publisher's summary

Punk trio Blink-182 was formed in Chula Vista, California, near San Diego, around vocalist/guitarist Tom Delonge, bassist Mark Hoppus, and drummer Scott Raynor, who subsequently left the band and was replaced by Travis Barker.

Whether you consider them crass, obnoxious, foul-mouthed, or juvenile, one thing is obvious: Blink-182 are market savvy.

This is not a record company or artist and management music release and sound quality may vary.

In this exclusive audiobiog, the band talk candidly about their image, the fans, and how they have crafted an art in manipulating corporate sponsorship. When the band isn’t naked, they're adorning billboards advertising sneakers or sunglasses. Blink-182 are spokesmen for everything gross; they're awesome, sensational, and leading the revolution. A great audiobiog for the fan, music historian and music collector.

Idiotic

Why even make this!! I've listened to probably the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. No story no bio just random facts and a interview with Tom that was too personal and not entertaining at all. Has beat to listen too throughout it was only good thing. Waste if time for sure.
