Great story, bland narrator

I have always loved this story, so I was going to enjoy myself regardless. The narrator, however, managed to challenge my listen to it. Oh boy was he bland. Eventually my love won out, and I accepted his emotionless, bulldozing narration, and just let the story roll over me. I admit to picturing Pierce Brosnan and the 1989 TV miniseries the entire time, and I fell in love with Phileas Fogg all over again.

very long

I knew the story of around the world in 80days and was knowing what I was in for but like driving a long familiar distance was uncertain by the halfway point if I should continue. other than length, good listen
