Poor value no depth a crass exploit of true fans

Would you try another book from B.V. Larson and/or Mark Boyett?

Yes I have purchased and enjoyed all of the other Star Force Series. This very poor short story was just a way to exploit fans of the series after paying for the other 13 books I could hardly not buy this one.

Has Army of One turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not at all

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes the narrator was fine

What character would you cut from Army of One?

All of them

Any additional comments?

Dear BV Larson attaching this to a great series is wrong this book should be deleted.

Gains, the story told.

This short, but informative story fills in the gaps in Conquest. It needed to be told

Army of one

This is at the early stages of intergalactic war and how one person tried and failed at being neutral. Plenty of action is within this book.

Days of old SiFi

Years ago I subscribed to SiFi magazines' that had short stories. I remember some that were only a page long and occasionally some were a few pages. The attraction was that most had great plots. Today it seems that the authors shoot for many pages and it is rare that few can hold my attention. Army of one was just long enough to keep you interested and had a great plot. Way to go Larson.

Loved it!

This is my second B. V Larson book. I totally didn't want it to end. I'm sold on both the author and the narrator, Mark Boyett. I'll be purchasing and listening to many more of Larson's Star Force books.

Great origin story

Many of us readers have wondered, “how did they become…” I love an origin story. I look them up online and have even sent emails to my favorite authors, of which B V Larson is one. This one tells the story of one of the characters from Star Force. I really liked this slice of life and I think you will too. Enjoy!

short

Decent story line, I would not pay for this. It's more like a trailer for the actual book you would want to hear. Still good for a short listen. The reader is a little hard to hear over road noise in the car but still works with the volume turned up.

Army of one

Loved the storyline. The concept is great, I could have read a whole book about him. Only complaint being it was way too short. I guess he blended into the army that was formed, but, I lost him in the process. Actually think I shall read it again and see where he plays into the other books. Or, If he does!

Not worth the listen. Just adding a new book topic

I think the author realize he could have a new series by adding a nanotize assassin . This did not add anything to the original story line
