Sweet Historical Romance
I'm starting this series with book 8 as I was gifted an audiobook, so I hope the earlier books explain the Pink Pistol in more detail. Right now it's just an odd quirk to the story. A bit of magic I guess. I don't really enjoy fantasy, so honestly that's my least favorite part of the story. But I enjoyed the romance. The narration was good. Nothing wrong exactly, just a bit stilted maybe. Sometimes it's hard to explain my feelings on paper. She did a good job making the characters all sound different which is one of the hardest things to do. I just don't think this story was the best fit maybe.

Fast
This was a clean romance based on a legend of a pistol that had the capability to bring together romantic relationships based on integrity and fidelity. Although the romance moved along a lot faster than I would have been comfortable with in real life, it was still a cute story that highlighted the emotional growth and attention to what was right that the main characters displayed. I really enjoyed the way the narrator voiced each character and the happy ending that they finally achieved!

Fascinating Story
This was a fascinating book to read. Lots of turns and twists while Rexanna and Roan try to find a new life and be released from the unpleasantness of the past. The legend of the pink pistol adds a little mystery to the story and it definitely relates to the two young people and influences their lives. It was a fun book and a good introduction to the author for me.
Narration was good and added much to the listening experience.
