People. People are what make a house a home. On realising this, in this final episode, Connie and the gang set about putting on a welcome party for the family when they arrive. They think of everything: tables, chairs, welcome flags, and even an exploding barbecue. 😯

Uncle Chris’s Community Theatre Company point out that a welcome party is all very well and good, but it's everyday kindness that makes people feel at home. Connie learns local communities can play a massive part in making others feel welcome, safe, and loved. 💛

In part two, we continue our adventure to learn how to make a house a home. We meet John-Paul, an artist and visionary with a keen creative eye. He helps Connie and the gang find the inspiration to decorate the house using a ‘special things’ box the family sent. 🎨🖌️

“Special things’ boxes are very special and can also be magical. They are packed with inspiration. Connie, take the first object out of the family’s special things box and see where the inspiration takes us...”

By the end of the episode, the decoration in the family’s new house matches the family’s interests, passions, and energy. But it is still missing one final ingredient to make a house a home. What could it be? 🤔

Connie’s family are super good friends with a family that come from a country that isn't safe for them to live anymore. Connie is on a mission to make their house a home before they arrive, but she needs help...

“I need to know how to make a house a home and fast. Family friends are fleeing from a war-torn country and they need our help to settle in here. They sent their stuff by boat a week ago. And they are coming by plane today!” 🛬

The adventure takes Connie and the gang to an area near the home that is packed with ice cream parlours, community gardens, and a mini market. It’s perfect! But when they race around the corner to where the house is supposed to be, it's an empty plot with nothing there!!! Everybody joins in building, but when it's finished, Connie realises it's more than bricks and mortar and windows and doors and floors and roof that make a house a home.

After the customers say singing things helps them to remember, Teresa transports the gang into a music-making app! 🎵Once inside, they play cool instruments to create a song together...🎸🥁

Things are getting very slimy for Connie and her lovely customers inside the slime game on Teresa’s smartphone adventures...🦠

“Oh yeah… I forgot to mention, we have to do it all with a slime monster chasing us and trying to eat us” ☠️

Being chased by a horrible slime monster, Teresa is tasked with playing the game outside the phone to help us escape to the end of the level! But Connie’s instructions don’t seem to be helping, and Teresa falls out with her! 😬

She goes to cool off but leaves her phone behind- with us still inside…just as the battery hits 5 per cent! Will Teresa and Connie find a way to make up before the battery dies? Or will we get stuck inside the smartphone forever?! 📱

Season 6 of Armchair Adventures is finally here! Welcome back adventurers! In this episode, Connie’s lovely customer Teresa needs a little help understanding how to use apps on her smartphone, so Connie and the gang adventure inside her mobile phone to help her learn more! 📱

“I’ll teach you what you need to know, it's soooo easy! Let’s get the gang on the line and adventure inside your smartphone. You can stay outside, and we can help you from inside it!”

The gang travel into a busy app store and get whisked around the digital world by its digital assistant CICI! But because Connie is a little impatient, Teresa uses the wrong app and they are all transported into ‘The Slime Zone game!’ 👾👾 Oh yeah, and Teresa has forgotten her phone charger! So, if they don’t hurry up and get out of there, they could be trapped inside the phone forever! ☠️
