Editorial reviews

When the lost armada of Spain rises from the sea, history begins to have a strange way of repeating itself in Thomas E. Fuller's fantastical piece Armada Rising. This fully dramatized work transports the listener through a superb soundscaped recoding, with fabulously fun performances by the Atlantic Radio Theater Company, which make it a pleasure to listen to.

Ranging from unbelievable firsthand accounts of sailors to interviews with rowdy Armada punk rockers, Armada Rising is immensely enjoyable, as performers recount and report a strange case of mass hysteria running rampant in England - though it may be more - while the long-lost Spanish Armada returns to complete their fateful journey.

Publisher's summary

Strange sightings off the coast of England are the stuff of mass hysteria. Lost causes create their own magic - and was there ever a cause more lost than the Spanish Armada? But then, what is approaching Plymouth?

An original, full-cast, soundscaped audio dramatization.
