A fun listen

I listen for fun, usually on my drive home after work when I need a brain break. This was perfect...lots of 'conspiracy' theories woven together, likeable characters, and a good narrator. Adding the sequel to my ever-expanding wish list!

Series is worth the effort but individual books no

The series as a whole is worth it. The strenuous effort to enter twine every myth of history into a alien conspiracy is good spaghetti. However the individual books can be painful. The 'action' seanes can be pointless, jumpy and painful. I recommend the read -you will just have to put some work into it to enjoy the series.

loved it. grabbed you and never let go. A must read for any si fi lover.

Mindless entertainment - pure pulp

Okay, but just another military-alien SF tale. It won't win awards. it's representative of SF that would was popular in the late 60's-70's. I would have liked it as a teenager. It was entertaining,without requiring much attention.

Interesting book

I confused this book with one of the same title Area 51 by Annie Jacobsen, however; the book was very interesting and action packed, with some real historical facts. I enjoyed listening to this book, no regrets.
