Our emotions are complex. Some of us seem able to ignore our feelings, while others feel controlled by them. But most of us would admit that we don’t always know what to do with how we feel. Story
Whether by choice or circumstances out of our control, we will have moments where we feel like we've been punched out, dragged down, or knocked out. What do we do in those situations? You must learn to persevere. Perseverance requires a deep sense of hope, and thought leader, pastor, and podcaster, Bianca Juárez Olthoff, knows that personally. Using the life of Paul the Apostle as a case study, Bianca shows how grit was the genesis of his transformation from a judgmental Pharisee to a world-changing follower of Jesus.

Healthy people make for healthy relationships. We often complicate that by entering relationships with our past baggage and preconceived ideas of what it means to find "the one". But the good news is that it is possible to find love in a way that honors both God and the opposite sex. In True Love Dates, professional counselor Debra Fileta encourages singles not to "kiss dating goodbye" but instead offers a new approach to dating by encouraging listeners to approach relationships in a way that is psychologically sound, emotionally healthy, and rooted in faith.

Story
Through personal experience and countless conversations, speaker and Bible teacher Jennie Allen has come to realize that most of us need to unlearn some deeply damaging messages about our emotions. We've been taught, for example, that emotions are untrustworthy when, in fact, they are a gift from God to help us notice what is wrong and where we need to heal. Your emotions are not something to suppress or ignore. They are meant to be felt, examined, and shared.

Fantastic resource
This book is everything. Honestly, I feel as though I could have written it myself. (A good reminder that there is nothing new under the sun, and we are not alone in our trials or revelations.) My husband and I have gone through it together, while physically apart, and we are hopeful. Hopeful in Christ and change and healing and wellness. Thank you-
