Well told history of pre-Columbian America's

Do yourself a favor and just listen to two of these podcasts. Ed is well accomplished and knowledgeable but he is also a great story teller. This is my favorite podcast.

Makes history and archaeology interesting

I've been on a tour with Ed to Palenque and Olmec areas. Also have watched his courses for the Teaching Company on South American archaeology and North American archaeology (not the exact titles). He is knowledgeable, engaging, entertaining and somewhat opinionated which Is a plus. You may agree or disagree but you're never bored! His speciality is archaeoastronomy, which is growing in acceptance and adding quite a fascinating dimension to pre-contact sites in South America, North America and Mesoamerica. These talks are Ed at his best, talking about aspects of ancient culture, weaving them into a larger story, making them relevant to life today. Great podcasts!
