Publisher's summary

Something is preying on Arcadia Falls.

A horror story from the multi-award-winning author of the Stage 3 Series and Gaia's Game, Ken Stark.

The first boy vanished without a trace and with just as little fanfare.

Even the second disappearance amounted to little more than a few passing remarks and another name skipped over in the classroom roll call.

As far as Riverside High and the rest of Arcadia Falls were concerned, it seemed as if nothing had happened at all.

Tyler John was no different.

He had barely given the matter a second thought.

But then a wrong turn sent him on a path straight into the dark heart of the mystery.

And the deeper he peered into the shadows, the more he realized that something was looking back.

Now, the hunter has become the hunted and time is running out.

With nowhere else to turn, it's up to Tyler and his handful of friends to stop the evil thing that's been preying on Arcadia Falls. If they fail, they might just be the next ones to vanish.

Yes, something is desperately wrong in Arcadia Falls...

And it's like nothing anyone has ever seen before.

True Fear inducing Horror

In the small town of Arcadia Falls children are missing. No one seems to notice or care. Until a group of young adults makes an earth-shattering and horrifying discovery! Now it is up to them to solve the mystery, defeat the evil, and make the town remember the lost ones.

Ken Stark, the author, weaves a horror-filled story that makes every parent shudder in fear. Carefully building the story, Stark tantalizes the listener with vague hints at the danger to come. Vivid descriptions and strong characters make the story flow seamlessly. Although this is a young adult novel, Stark captures the imagination of all ages!

The narrator, Brian T. Schultz delivers a strong performance with unique voices for each character. He captures the personality of each character and projects it with enthusiasm and clarity. I enjoy Brian Schultz’s portrayal of each character and his steady cadence.

Arcadia Falls will tickle your parental fears as well as keep you engaged from beginning to end. If you want nightmares, this is the perfect book for them.

There were no issues with the sound or quality of this audiobook, it was well done.

Complete Dissappointment

How this book got such high reviews is beyond me. First, the narrator is so bad that it detracts from any of the content that may have been good. I know horror is not meant to be believable but to make it good there has to be some content to relate to. I read reviews talking about the book being terrifying. There was literally nothing scary about this book. I wish I would have got my money back early. iIf you want something scary and even remotely relatable, read by a decent narrator stay away from this book.
