A Wonderful Listen

This book really showcases Allen's ability as a writer and performer. I listen to it as I go on walks and never once am I bored. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested, but especially to writers, filmakers, and comedians.

Enjoyed every second of it

Incredibly witty and humorous as always. Worth reading and rereading. Listening over and over.

Entertaining and Interesting

I especially enjoyed the fact that the author read his book. The stories of his youth and entry into show business are all very interesting and well told. I find his telling of the incidences in his breakup with Mia very believable and the findings from various court proceedings would seem to bear this out.

It’s so ironic that a life-long liberal who has marched in step with doctrines of the left is now caught up in leftist blacklisting and book banning. The current atmosphere would make McCarthy proud.

Totally cool!

A wonderful book. The idiocy of the accusations against him are only matched by the craven cowardice of the “celebrities” who have spoken out against him.

Listen to this book!

This is a phenomenal book. Funny. Easy to follow. And incredibly insightful into what really happened in the Woody Allen "scandal".

Is there a part 2? I enjoyed all the stories about Woody 's movies and want more. The narrator was excellent.

From magic to music and Hollywood fame, Woody Allen’s delightful tales were not only fun to hear but written with so much generosity for those he knew and worked with. Worth every penny!

I purposefully waited for the Audiobook to be released before enjoying this engrossing autobiography! Having Woody as the narrator made it highly enjoyable. I’ve been a huge fan of his since the 80s and continue to admire his work.

one my fav autobiographies!

I listen to a lot of old rock legend biographies and autobiographies, but this was as fun and exciting to me personally as any of those !I love woody allen more than ever now and found this a fun listen all the way through...the time flew by!

And for the record I find Woody's account of the Mia Farrow years to be candid and consistent. I feel he was innocent and that Mia Farrow was the real monster...there is a lot of collaborating evidence online to support this. That's why this culture of crucifying men at the word of ONE WOMAN is wrong! all abuse should be investigated, but we should never hang someone unfairly based on the words of one person with no proof!

If you are a fan - listen

Was great having Woody narrate. Not tons of insight into his films. Rather a good summation of his life and with that you get the insight into his movies.
