Publisher's summary

We were Army Rangers, the best of the best. And then one day, everything that we worked so hard to become was ripped away.

Now, we're in some podunk town, trying to find a sense of normal among the crazy, and learn how to live again. That gets a hell of a lot harder to do when a virus spreads mercilessly across the country, killing 85 percent of the people who contract it.

In the midst of the panic, we're tasked with one last rescue mission. It's just our luck that the fool we're rescuing doesn't believe that the world as we know it is actually ending.

Looks like the apocalypse is about to get real interesting.

Contains mature themes.

Hilariously Original Storyline

Enjoyed the author's originality and humor. Storylines in the RH genera often have a cookie cutter quality this story was refreshing and fun.

Sexy funny and a whopper of an ending !

This is an awesome reverse harem stand alone. No cliffhanger and a great ending! I really don’t want to give up any spoilers so I will just say this is a must listen. Well worth the money or credit. The perfect amount of comedy, drama and steamy scenes. The characters were so dynamic and the narration was brilliant. Best ending ever! Wow!

Wow, this book...

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at the end of a book. Remy is one of favorite characters and that twist at the end...you have to read this book!

Too bad I can't stand the FMC

The FMC is such a combative and recalcitrant idiot, I can't stand to listen to her idiocy long enough to even get into the story. This was a huge waste of money and I'm ticked off I spent ANY on it.

Weird narration from the man

This is not a duet narration, which is a shame because the male narrator has such a STRANGE voice for the FMC, Remi. But the female narrator has a nice, pleasant voice. If it was a duet, the female narrator could just read the FMC lines, sparing us the male narrator's horrible crazy voice he has for the FMC. In addition, most of the 3 male characters sound like some sort of "valley/surfer dude" voice. That's okay for one, helps tell people apart, but not 2 of the three. Plus instead of pronouncing the word windy "WHINE-dee" for a curving road, he said "WIN-dee" (as in a weather alert). A road is not WIN-dee. How did this sort of thing make it past the producer of this audio book? I feel bad for unloading about the male author, but this is a hard pass for me because of the voice he has for the FMC. Suggestion for Audible - have a sample of BOTH narrators in your sample. I know you just take the first 5 minutes or whatever, but how hard would it be to edit to include all the narrators so we get an accurate listen?

definitely a wtf kind of book.

April's Fools was, uh, interesting? I will admit the smut and the characters were enjoyable.. but the ending was what got me. I didn't know if I was supposed to laugh or not. It was just so freaking ridiculous. Not something I would expect from this book but it was interesting...

First, the handshake plague was adorable. I don't know how these guys thought this thing was real but it was laughable. Once I read that.. I just started laughing. Crying and laughing. It wasn't even that funny but their reactions to it were.

These guys? Oh, well they go by Madix, Brant, and Theo. They all live in this sleepy little town where everyone knows everyone. Well, except these guys aren't too bright to hear bullshit when it's spoken to them. Again, hand freaking shake plague.

The sheriff of this little town gives these guys a mission: to go get his kid. He tells them little information about this mission - just gives them a map and a car. The entire time they thought they were picking up a dude.. boy were they shocked to find out Remington was a Remi.

These four had chemistry, kind of insta if you catch my drift. Lots of sexual tension and then random hook ups that shocked me a bit. These guys go from barely sharing a thing at all to going after the same girl rather quickly.

Overall, the ending man. That damn thing. I have nothing to say.
