Publisher's Summary

“Combative coworkers on the road trip from hell: One smart, sassy heroine plus one yummy, cantankerous hero multiplied by plenty of misconceptions. Susannah Nix nails the perfect blend of hilarity and sexual tension. I loved it!” (Tammara Webber, New York Times best-selling author)

Adam Cortinas may be gorgeous, but he’s made it clear he can’t stand Olivia - and the feeling is one hundred percent mutual. Too bad, because in order to bring the company’s new power plant online, they’re stuck with each other for the next week.

When their travel plans go horribly awry, Olivia finds herself stranded in the middle of nowhere with Adam, AKA the bane of her existence.

He’s in her space and in her head. All the forced proximity is driving Olivia insane. That’s the only explanation for these feelings she’s suddenly having.

But it doesn’t change anything. They still hate each other.

Right?

Swooned

Susannah Nix never disappoints you! In this STEM series, I love how we always have a smart heroine & intelligent, successful characters! I read it without the audio but it’s always heighten up when there is one. Man, it made me laugh, swoon, and cry. I love how they banter as well as how they adore each other. I just love the more and more they get to know each other, the more and more they fall in love, grow as one in the workplace and outside of that. Olivia and Adam are beautifully written and such a heartwarming story. There are so many romance novel authors but she is my favorite. I.WANT.MORE.IN.THIS.SERIES!

Not the best in the series, but still a good story

I love this series by Nix, and the narrator Caitlyn Kelly always does a great job about not being too cheesy in the different voices. I think there was less character development details that I enjoyed in the other parts of the series, but nevertheless listened to it nonstop!

Couldn't continue.

The main male character deserves a word I can't write here. I assume he lightens up eventually but I had such a strong reaction to his arrogant judgmental attitude I concluded that I didn't care to know anything more about him. I also didn't want to know why he is still deserving of respect from Olivia

A great series

I love this book and all the other books. Reminds me of my 20-30. Laughing, crying, highs and lows. Would recommend for college students to any adult. Really hope we see more books in this series and a wrap up of where the characters went.

Not my favorite in the series

This was unfortunately my least favorite book in this series. I felt a lack of true connection between the Adam and Olivia. Maybe it was because they’re story felt a little rushed. Most of Nix’s other stories take a lot more time to deal with the emotional baggage the characters carry. I just didn’t connect with these two as much as previous books.
