Claire: I’m back in my hometown for one reason, and one reason only: to help out at the Apple Blossom B&B after my mom’s injury. Thankfully, she’s recovering at Harmony Medical Center which leaves Rose and I in charge.

Rose is my second mother who treats me like her daughter, unlike my actual mother who treats me like a stranger. Rose makes this place palatable, and with the overstuffed baggage I carry, I need her familiar hugs and delicious chicken and dumpling soup.

I’m walking around with confidence as thin as ice, but I’m making it work until I run into Jax. The boy I loved as a teen, but whom my mother never approved of. I broke his heart the last night of senior year before I ran away for good.

I figured he’d moved on, but apparently not. He now runs the Harmony Pub, and even though I’m trying to avoid him, he shows up everywhere I am.

The feelings for him that I thought were buried for good apparently have nine lives.

The problem is, I know how this story ends. With broken hearts and broken families.

And I’m not ready to do that again.

This story is told through three different points of view. Abigail, Bash, and Claire. It's a story of romance and friendships between women. If you liked the Netflix show, Sweet Magnolias, you'll love this series!

Great Story

Another Enjoyable installment. Can’t wait for the other books and to hear the end of Abigail and Bash’s story.

Loved it

Excited to find out what happens with Bash and Abigail, Claire and Jax and now the introduction of the Godwins.

Narrator

I enjoyed the book- but the narrator needs to help better differentiate the different characters more. There were times when I didn’t realize who was talking because all the girls sound the same and all the guys sound the same. I still enjoyed the book, but I often had to go back and make sure I knew who said what. This could also be because I’m listening to the books so close together, but it is making it a bit harder to follow which storyline we are on.

I’m hooked!

I’ve literally listened to the 1st three books in 2 days!! Time to buy the other two! The characters are all awesome. My new favorite genre and author!

Obsessed

I can’t get enough of the stories and the drama can’t wait for the other books to be available!

It’s alright

Abigail and Bash - Yep. I like the MCs in this one more than the first. Hands down. Bash is fairly interesting in a good way.
There’s a bite dash of mystery to this one that I enjoyed.

Low brain energy vibes kind of read.
