Publisher's summary

The Tribulation Force is gathering in Jerusalem, where thousands of the faithful are receiving crucial teachings from their leader. They must be prepared for the fourth Trumpet Judgement prophesied in Revelations. Soon, even the sun will be affected, and a plague of anguish will be released on earth.

As the Tribulation Force continues its dramatic struggle against evil, Apollyon offers stunning apocalyptic visions. Richard Ferrone's riveting narration captures the suspense of the physical conflicts and the drama of the spiritual challenges. When Left Behind, the first book in LaHaye and Jenkins' inspirational saga, was published, it attracted millions of fans worldwide. Since then, each succeeding book has joined it on best seller lists. Apollyon, the fifth volume, is a thrilling continuation of the battle between the followers of Christ and the forces of Nicolae, the Antichrist.

is is scary how unbelievably close the morals of modern day america mirror those in this story I used to think that Americans would never follow a global government but anybody who voted for Biden would do so in a heartbeat

best series

love this series, they do a great job about telling the story of the tribulations in an entertaining way but still getting the point across about. Getting right with God and not being left behind.

Horrible narriator

I am very glad I was able to find the audio to this book that was read by the narrator of all the other books. To me, part of a good story teller (reader in this case) to to make each character unique and recognizable, none of that was done in this book. Also, he was mispronouncing the names of key characters!!!

headphones beware

Some of the writing is cringey but I'm enjoying the story. although this narrator and the audio engineer are again terrible. Hearing his saliva and breathing at every pause is infuriating and gross.

i love these stories but narrator needs help with characterization as hard to tell who is who while listening, i actually prefer the experience in sound and drama better

Interesting in places, but not enough

I made it through 5 “books”, but there just isn’t enough movement in the story line. Too many contrived challenges and hurdles. Too little to keep my interest. But I bet I already know how it ends.
