My favorite so far

l loved this book. I have been on a R.S. Grey reading binge. I loved this book. I laughed sooo much. I am addicted for sure!

Fun Listen!

I really enjoyed the history the characters shared. it added a lot to the story.

Fun and good listen

I ended up listening to this in a day. I loved the characters and their dynamic. The performance was great (both of them). I would recommend this book to my friends without hesitation.

Daisy and Lucas!

From the time that they were in kindergarten Daisy has always considered Lucas her nemesis and during that time has done everything she could to ensure that she would emerge the winner from their battles. When she left to attend med school she thought it would give them the separation she needed but she now finds herself back in her hometown completing to take over the medical practice where they both find themselves working.

Lucas is no longer the insecure teenager he was when he last saw Daisy a decade ago. He is sexy, confident and still has a way of knowing exactly what to do to get the maximum attention from Daisy. He has his own reasons for returning to his hometown and it isn’t only to take over the town’s medical practice. When they are forced to spend 24 hours in quarantine it causes them to re-evaluate their feelings for each other but is it a temporary cease fire or the beginning of more?

These two will have you at time laughing out loud and at times have you pulling your hair out. Everyone in towns know that they love each other, and we can only hope that Daisy and Lucas will realize it as well before it is too late. I thought that the narrators were a great choice for the characters.

Very Entertaining and well defined characters

This is a very good book when you want to escape your every day life and step into someone else's life. The author wrote this in a way that makes you a spectator in the comings and goings of this little Texas Town. If you prefer PG13, look elsewhere but the story without the 'romantic' interludes would not have been as good or felt true to life!

I went with the audio book as it fits my time schedule. The narrators did an excellent job and definitely got into the story.

Every one of this author's books I have read, I have loved. They are well written, funny and make me cry at the same time.

She doesn’t deserve Lucas!

Normally I don’t write bad reviews, but I couldn’t even finish this book. For being 28 years old, Daisy is extremely immature and annoying. Another reader had said that Lucas was an A**, but it’s obviously that he’s always been in love with her and has to keep this feud going so he can spend time with her. Daisy is the one that can’t seem to drop this childish stupidity. I’ve read other books by this author and absolutely love them. I’m moving on to another book with a more mature female character.

Sad, just plain sad story

I adore this author hecause she always makes me laugh but not this time. They spend 18 years not being together, essentially because the woman is a jerk. He is patient and kind and loving. Near as I could see the girl had no redeeming qualities. Just yuk. Also, the female narrator read the entire book, minus a minute or two. I like some balance in the reading. At the start of every chapter it was a female reading again and I eventually cringed when I heard another.

I laughed so hard at this book... prepare for sexy serves and side stitching laughter
