Do you feel tied up in knots?

The audio is a great tool for rewinding and listening again to the wisdom in this book. Completed my first listen but plan several more. I understand now what I must do to live without the worry and anxiety I have been feeling. I have gleaned enough already to feel more at peace than I have in weeks. Bear in mind that you will need to apply these principles to your own life, just reading them is not enough!

A Truth-In-Love Encouragement Against Being Anxious Book

This book discusses, through supporting evidences contained in the Holy Bible, why a Christian should not be anxious. It is authoritative and, oftentimes, is not a feel-good message, however it is truthful and impactful. Loved it. Will listen again!

WELL, THERE WAS SOMETHING I WAS REALLY WORRIED ABOUT FOR WEEKS THAT WAS STRESSING ME OUT SEVERELY.I WAS SO ANXIOUS SO WHEN I HEARD ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING OH MY LORD I HEARD IT 3,4, TIMES. AND I HAD PRAYED AND PRAYED I ASK GOD TO PLEASE HELP ME TO TALK TO ME AND I FELT THAT HE DID THROUGH THIS BOOK AND IF I START FEELING WORRIED I WILL HEAR MY ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING. PRAISE GOD A MILLION TIME!!!!!!

After having our first child this book helped me to discover hidden anxieties and point me back to Christ.

Straightforward truth

In typical John MacArthur fashion, there is no fluff, just straightforward truth. I appreciated this thorough biblical assessment on anxiety. This book allowed me to step outside my circumstances and refocus on God and who He is. I sent it to nearly all of my family members - everyone can get something from this book!

Excellent, highly recommend

John is one of my favorite Pastors to listen to and to learn from on both his radio shows and his books. I highly recommend this book in particular, it has given me great strength and wisdom through faith and continued understanding of scripture.

John writes in a way that speaks to my heart. When the word of God is used as John writes I get excited and my mind feels renewed. I love Maurice England as well. He has read so many books I feel as if he’s next to me as I listen.

Pastor John MacArthur goes in depth in Scriptures to discuss the issue of anxiety in a Christian life. Very enlightening and a very practical guide to overcome it.
