Story
The struggle we experience with anxiety is real. No amount of optimism or positive reinforcement works when your brain is running away from you at warp speed. Sometimes, it can be hard to even sit down and remain still when in the throes of anxiety. What if I told you that there is a way of taking control of your mind? What if you could follow a structured path that will ensure not only a calm mind but also prevent a relapse - something which happens to over half the patients who seek treatment for anxiety and depression?

Story
Feel overwhelmed by your thoughts? Struggling with anxiety about your daily tasks? Or do you want to stop worrying about life? Anxiety is a normal part of life. In fact, it is more abnormal for someone to say they have never experienced a moment of anxiety than it is for someone to say that they have had instances in their life where they were anxious. However, anxiety can also come in different shades and levels of severity. The most typical occurrences of anxiety are before a big event happens in a person’s life, like a wedding or a job interview.

Panic attacks are very common. Nearly a quarter of all adults will experience at least one panic attack in their lifetime. If you’re reading this, you’re probably one of those people. Even when panic attacks are isolated experiences, the effects can be very disruptive and upsetting. If you experience panic attacks more frequently, the impact is even more devastating and often comes with other unpleasant consequences, including public embarrassment, increased general anxiety, and physical side effects, such as gastrointestinal issues.

Publisher's Summary
I would like to tell you a little about my story and see if you can relate. At 37 years old I can look back now and say that my battle with generalized and social anxiety probably started around 10 years old. Pretty young right?
I would panic for weeks before having to speak in front of the class, I would sit at the back of the class and would dread group assignments where I would have to interact with people and even family gatherings would get me nervous.
I carried this into my teens and adult life where I would not go for jobs due to the fear of what the boss or future work friends would think of me. I would panic for weeks prior to a work social event or party with friends and would get sweaty and stressed on the way there.
Who wants to spend the rest of their life like this? like you I wanted to have the confidence to meet new people, go for new and better jobs and spend time with friends and family and feel totally relaxed while doing it.
I researched and spoke to professionals and began to put a plan in place to beat my mental illness for good after many failed attempts. Slowly, I got on top of it and although its something I have to be aware of moving forward I can say my life has improved out of sight.
I'm going to hit you with some stats now, did you know that in the US alone 40 million adults aged 18 and above suffer from an anxiety disorder? Did you also know that only 36 percent of those people actually get help? And that is just the United States, that's crazy right? Once I read that I knew I wanted to help make a difference and that's the reason I wrote his book with the exercises that helped me.
In this book you will discover:
- One key 5 minute exercise that you can use daily to automatically put you in a positive frame of mind, its impossible not too
- The underlying issue you are really suffering from and believe it or not, it's not anxiety
- A skill that you can perfect overtime that will have you releasing your mind mind of negativity everyday
- A technique that you can do anywhere to control stress and nobody will even know your doing it
- A specific diet that helps improve the symptoms of anxiety
- And much more....
If you think you have tried and failed to beat anxiety in the past and you have lost all hope then let me tell you I was a person who also failed many times before I found a formula that worked. I was someone who was always negative about the effectiveness of help from others.
I have narrowed this book down to specific exercises that worked for me after years of failure. I won't lie to you, its won't happen overnight, it's a process so if your want a quick fix this isn't the book for you but you need to think about where your at now and where you want to be in the future.

Worked for me
This book really prepared me to overcome some real anxiety attacks I had for years. It's not a cure, it's not a one-stop-shop, but Michael created the book in a way that made me really relate. He does a good job of taking the fear out of panic and anxiety attacks. He's not selling you a cure, make no mistake. He is selling you a path out though, it's up to you to walk the path and his book definitely helps you along it. If you suffer, give it a shot. I did and I'm now doing things that were impossible for me before.

A life-raft in a sea of anxiety.
This book helped me through an anxiety catastrophe. More than a psychologist and medication, I feel like this book gave me tools to use but also normalized my anxiety and made me feel less alone. My anxiety was primarily health related and this book spoke to that in depth, however, not exclusively. This book is for all types of anxiety. I credit it with my return to normalcy. I feel okay again, which I never thought I would. Thank you Michael .

Amazing book, tons of information!
I am fairly new to anxiety attacks. Only having had them the last few years, off and on. But to be honest, since I can remember I have always felt slightly anxious. Not an anxiety "attack" as I have been getting the last few years, where I am jittery, elevated heat beat, palpitations, chest pains, and slight nausea, but just constantly in a state of being "tense", and I have pretty serious social anxiety.
Listening this book I can relate so well, small things like avoiding certain situations, such as while driving, I will go 20 min out of my way to avoid an intersection! And some of the other symptoms and feelings Michael explains he, or his clients have experienced. It is just good to know I am not alone.

An End to the Torment
I think this book must be saving lives every day. I ordered it for a loved one who suddenly began having anxiety attacks a few weeks ago, and they were accelerating in severity at a horrible pace. The night I downloaded this book to Kindle, the person stayed up much of the night reading it cover to cover and began to improve that very same day. We've since found that psychiatrists like this book and like the science behind it. They encourage its use. It truly does work, even for severe anxiety, and its methods even help me with some occasional claustrophobia. If you're an anxiety sufferer, listen the book from first to last, no skipping ahead! Then re-listen it when you have lapses, and believe what he says.

Changed my life!
I'm pretty new to anxiety and have only been having panic attacks in the last year. This past week was the worst of my life, having multiple attacks all through the day and night and not being able to sleep more than a few hours each night. My amygdala was on overdrive and I was stuck! The ironic thing is that I am a therapist and I thought I knew all the coping skills I needed to know. They didn't work for me though. Watching endless YouTube videos and Ted Talks didn't help either. I was so desperate for something, and then I listen this book. I've noticed a drastic improvement in the last couple days, and I know it's only getting better each day. I will be eternally thankful. Thank you Michael !!

I have been depressed for twenty years and now have a low self-esteem. I highly recommend this book to to anyone who has been through what I had to suffer which is like being imprisoned in a facility alone where you can watch the world fly by.
I can now attend church with my wife and not worry about what people think. Yes, there always will be a person who disrespects a man who isn't outgoing as much as they are, so they ignore us.

Life changing
I had my first panic attack when I was a junior in high school. My younger brother passed away from cancer in 2013 and I have had panic attacks every day since. Anxiety has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I spent a lot of time and money on therapy. I've attended support groups, I've read books. I've prayed for deliverance, I've tried medication. But the side effects were worse than the anxiety. Mindfulness did not work for me. I had many sleepless nights because I couldn't turn off my brain. No matter what I tried, nothing worked. I'm not sure why I thought this book would be different. I just sensed it would be. I have listened many books on anxiety, and this book is one of a kind. As I listen, I was more than a little skeptical. But then I tried some of the techniques in the book. I found I was able to stop my panic attack and diffuse my anxiety immediately. If you suffer from anxiety or panic attacks or both, do your self a favor and listen this book. The information in this book is life changing.

Good book
I ordered this book two weeks ago and the I've already experienced STEP CHANGE improvements. For the first time in years, I finally KNOW I will overcome generalized anxiety. In just two weeks, my symptoms have started to dissipate, and I no longer "fear the fear." Michael does a phenomenal job in explaining how you can PRACTICALLY overcome your anxiety.

I feel so relieved
I started having panic attacks while driving in October and became stuck at home only able to leave the house when hubby could drive me. I just finished listening this book and that night I used the techniques in this book and drove. That was yesterday! Today I drove again. Highly recommend this book. I feel so confident and less alone now. Thank you!

Excessive thinking generates excessive thinking. It is a process that feeds itself and leads inevitably to exhaustion, both emotional and physical because your mind never stops running and consuming energy. If you are genuinely motivated by the desire to reverse this vicious circle, but perhaps you never had the right approach to solving the problem, this audiobook may be what you are missing to accomplish the mission.

Story
We oftentimes look towards the outside world to find the roots of our problems. However, most of the times, we should be looking inwards. Our mind and our emotions determine our state of being in the present moment. If those aspects are left unchecked, we can get easily overwhelmed and are left feeling unfulfilled every single day.
