Publisher's summary

Have you wondered if it is possible to stop intense feelings of worry, anxiety, or depression without resorting to medication?

Most depression-related medication can have a series of harmful side effects that sometimes leave patients in an even worse state than before. There are several methods that have high rates of success when treating and eliminating depression, anxiety, and negative thought patterns with little to virtually no side effects.

Includes three books from the Collective Wellness series, in which you'll learn:

  • Exactly how to dismantle the most damaging automatic thoughts
  • Effective sleep tips for driving away anxiety at bedtime
  • How to develop a solid foundation of core beliefs so that external factors have little negative impact on the way you think
  • How to avoid the most common mistakes that patients do that can greatly hinder their progress toward recovery
  • Proven methods to relax your mind and body to disrupt stress and depression patterns

People who have suffered from depression, anxiety, or constant negative thoughts know how difficult it can be to break the vicious, apparently never-ending cycle. There is a large number of patients who have learned how to successfully manage emotions and thoughts to "rewire" the way their minds work for good.

Unlike depression or anxiety medication, these methods will reward you with long-lasting results when correctly applied to your life. There is no better time to start the journey toward a healthier mind and body. Start regaining your mental health today!

Deep and Insightful!!!!

This book identifies your harmful thoughts that create the negative emotions, it's easy to read, easy instructions and most of all easy comprehensive reading. For anyone who struggles or just want to improve their cognitive so they are not so heavily affected in their older years this is a great place start. It's easier said than done, but a lot of great ideas and advice. Will be trying some of these for sure.

Very affirmative listen!

There is a lot of information but the areas that are familiar were easy to identify. I have been using some of the practices in the book with my family and it has led to some interesting and eye opening conversations.

Enjoyable approach!

I really enjoyed the approach this book takes. It encourages you to go through slowly, one chapter per week, doing the exercises and really thinking about how you feel and why you feel that way. The book encourages you to change aspects of your thinking and your behavior by suggesting alternative ways of being. A lot of the material proved to be an eye opener for me. It is essential that the listeners takes the time to write down their thoughts as requested throughout the book. Take the time to review these notes as you progress through the book, you will learn a lot.

Made me calm minded!

I wish I knew of this workbook sooner. In today’s world most doctors will just fill you with medications without even suggesting therapy. I bought this book as a tool to use while trying to understand my panic and anxiety and get my life back, while looking for a new therapist and tapering off of my medication. I have a lot going on. I am a recovering alcoholic who no longer uses a bottle to self-medicate and who is no longer willing to “take a pill and feel fine”. I want my life back on my terms. I’m fairly confident this workbook will help me become the person, the mom, the wife that I once was.

Pleasantly surprised!!

I was very skeptical about using a workbook to help me with my severe anxiety and panic attacks but I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised at how much this workbook has helped me. I recall noticing in chapter once a difference in my thought processes . Something I really enjoyed about the workbook are the final chapters with the self help sections. They are designed to be used once you have read the book and experience an anxiety attack or panic attack, it helps you through them . Best advice I can give is be open to it :)
