ANOTHER ONE: Standalone romance

Forbidden romance never felt so good!

Trevor Willis is sexy, sweet, and oh so fun. He’s also my best friend’s brother-in-law. That should mean he’s off-limits—or that I should be off-limits to him.

Someone probably should have told us that before my best friend married his brother, before the morning of the wedding when we woke in each other’s arms, before I woke with gaping holes in my memory.

They didn’t.

We did.

***

Shana Price is that one woman.

Usually shy and awkward, I want to be more for her—and in her presence I am more. I don’t even have to try. She’s my one. I knew it the moment I first met her.

The problem is the little hassle of the thousands of miles between us.

Now, everything has changed.

Shana is back in the United States—all I have to do is make her see that her job isn’t the only reason to stay.

From New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig, get ready to laugh out loud, swoon, and fall in love with this fun and sexy stand-alone novel. ANOTHER ONE is set in the same world as PLUS ONE, yet the two may be read in any order.

*This novel contains the connecting novella previously released as A SECRET ONE.

Quick, cute story

I liked the narrators, they did a great job on the characters.
As for the story- it’s very basic and Does not have a plot twist so don’t wait for one. Easy listen. I was over the male lead character calling the female lead “my lady” ALL the time. Other than that it was enjoyable.

Funny, Romantic and Sexy!

I absolutely adored this fun, witty, sexy rom-com. This book picks up a year after the wedding where Shana Price and Trevor Willis first met. Living on separate continents, they tried to make a long distance relationship work, but quickly lost touch. Now Shana is working temporarily in New York and Trevor is there as well. When they see each other at the most unlikely place, the sparks reignite, hotter than ever. I loved both Shana and Trevor. Shana is strong, beautiful, smart and sassy. She brings out the best in nerdy Trevor. He is so kind, thoughtful and loving and he had me totally swooning! They were made for each other in every way and their chemistry was explosive. Brian Pallino and Ava Erickson nailed it as Trevor and Shana. They both balanced each characters strength and vulnerability perfectly. They effortlessly set the stage for all the fun, excitement, doubt, and passion these characters felt. I had so much fun listening to this sweet and sexy story!

Good Story

This was a good story but I just feel like it's one I've listened to before. Narrators are great, this story will hold your attention.

Loved It!

My third Aleatha book which completed my first Aleatha series. A thoroughly enjoyable read! It was wonderful reading a sweet, funny book without a ton of angst. I’ve always been a fan of cannoli, now I’ll never look at them the same!😜

Pretty good.

Shana and Trevor’s second chance romance was light hearted, steamy and entertaining. There was a lot about fashion and runway models that was interesting and I enjoyed catching up on previous characters and meeting new ones. I was a little disappointed with the limited amount of emotional depth in this story but there’s only so far you can go with a 2 week romance and the epilogue wasn’t enough for me. I listened to the audiobook and I enjoyed the narration performances of Brian Pallino and Ava Erickson.

Good overall

It was good story over all. Although I love Ava as a reader and she did a good job, I wanted to hear Brian too. Although this supposed to be dual narrators, Brian didn’t have that many lines. It was worth the listen.

Cute story with plenty of laughs

Thought the story was good but a little underdeveloped. At the end I found myself wanting to know what caused the situation with her job....as a professional woman it bothered me (even though it turned out ok). The characters are extremely likable.
If you want a quick listen that will make you smile this is it.

Surpisingly Non Violent

It was a pleasant surprise that the author was actually capable of writing a novel in which no women were raped and tortured by alpha sociopaths. Rather in Another One, her female characters were portrayed as educated, competent and confident; not a wimpy, brain-dead doormat to be found.

Likewise, the men genuinely seemed to like and respect women, whether as a friend, lover or relative. When Trevor met Shana at his brother's wedding, he did not try to manipulate or bully her into having sex, but wanted to get to know Shana as a unique person.

Now, if only the book was full length with more plot development and more character background. There were amusing and sweet moments with the potential for truly entertaining.

Good

This was a good read. I could have done without Trevor calling her “my lady” so much. It made the story cheesy.
