Publisher's Summary

Attorney Michael Gresham has a new go-to person. Her name is Annie, and she's 12.

Annie is a savant. She can look at you and, like her idol, Sherlock Holmes, tell you where you're from, whether or not you're happily married, and where you went to school. But now she must use her skills to discover who murdered her entire family, because it looks like the killer was actually looking for her.

Annie must profile the killer before he kills her. It will take all of her brilliance and all of the lawyering skills of Michael Gresham. But will even that be enough? At the last minute, Annie spins out an entire universe of killers and leads Michael Gresham to their door.

Now the door must be opened.

Annie's Verdict is book six in the USA Today best-selling author's thrillers featuring Michael Gresham.

"Spellbinding legal/psychological thriller. If you only read one book this year, make it this one!" (American Institute for Justice)

The series books are all stand-alones. For example, if you missed book five, enough background about it will be provided in book six that you don't miss anything. All books work this way in these legal thrillers.

Finally on Audible!

Another really good solid addition to the Michael Gresham series. The publisher's summary gives more than enough information so I won't go into any more detail about this story. Although parts are not exactly believable I found the entire book completely enjoyable. It held my interest with no lulls and maintained a steady pace through out. Stephen Hoye does an excellent job narrating. If you found this review helpful please indicate so. Thank You.

Best of the Michael Gresham series!

With the exception of Book 1 in the Gresham series I've liked all of the first seven, but Annie's Verdict is my clear favorite (there are two more that I have not yet listened to). Twelve year old Annie is a savant who likes Michael Gresham and has attached herself to him after her dad and her two older siblings are murdered. This novel is more emotionally intense than prior series books. Stephen Hoye does a nice job of narration. Annie's Verdict has 60 year old Michael Gresham resigning his private defense attorney practice in Chicago and moving to Washington DC to become an Assistant US Attorney.

Do not waste your time or money

The plot was predictable, the writing trite and the performance overly dramatic. If I could return it I would but the least I can do is save you the trouble.

Annie's Verdict

Captivating, loved the writers style. The plot and sun plots keep the the reader interested throughout the book. The addition of the young child with special needs adds a very interesting twist to the book. Congratulations Mr. Ellsworth.
