I couldn't finish

I listened to 2 hours of the story before I gave up. Long winded descriptions which unbelievably kept repeating and repeating. The women in the story had different names but they all had the same thing to say again and again. Skip this book.

Annie Freeman's Fabulous Traveling Funeral

This is a great book, not only fun but also provides a lot of food for thought about friendship, priorities in life, life and death, celebration of life. At times, it seems frivolous but putting your mind into it and placing it into context then you can extract all possible meaning out of it. I really enjoyed listening to it, a great reader, by the way. this book is up there among my very favorites of all times. Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Disappointing

The concept was interesting, but it could have been done better in half the time or pages. I didn't finish it.

Annoying

I listened for two hours and couldn't go on. The story was so slow getting off the ground and the repetitive descriptions of the characters, their problems and their feelings was exhausting. It reads like molasses and while I like in depth information and description this was just heavy and dragged you down, If you don't have my attention in an hour then you've lost me. I would not recommend it. Wish I had my money back on this one!

Overall enjoyable

The book was for the most part enjoyable, although somewhat predictable and the ending was a little too convenient. Yet I found it mostly entertaining in spite of this, and the idea of a traveling funeral really appealed to me. I am making plans now for my own travelling funeral.

Great story for everyone!!

I really think this book should be made into a movie! It’s about life, love, death and friendships! People don’t like to talk about death, this story would change so many for the good!! Loved it!❤️❤️❤️

Immature “Humor”

Should never have ordered the book after being repulsed by the bra obsession in the audible sample. That plus unnecessary swearing in first few chapters, made me think book characters were immature prepubescents, not representative of grown women. Tried to attempt to skim ahead to make a good faith attempt to read for book club. Kept finding it shallow, unbelievable. nothing the characters had to say was interesting. I learned that audible books can be returned.

Missed the mark for me

Good idea but characters didn’t seem real and too much fell into place to easily. Might make a good girl flick.

Deep Complex Inspring

Enjoyed it thoroughly. As a retired hospice social worker it was so real and honest and delightful. Many people aren’t comfortable with talking about death or grief. The author did a remarkable job of including the good the bad and the ugly.
