Publisher's Summary

If you want to know how you can effectively manage your anger as a parent, then keep reading....

Are you someone who cannot keep themselves calm when the kids do something wrong? Do you instantly shout or scream at them instead of dealing with the situation positively? If yes, then you probably have anger-management issues, and you need to do something about it if you don’t want to harm your child's upbringing. This audiobook is filled with advice for all parents who are looking for ways to curb their anger. The first and foremost step of managing anger is recognizing it, but that might not seem as easy as it sounds to everyone. So, this audiobook will also provide you with some signs that you should look out for. Once you have identified your anger and the underlying reasons, you are ready to move forward with applying other strategies.

This might not be the first place you stumbled upon on the internet as a remedy for your anger. But I am guessing that the other things didn’t work, or else you wouldn’t be looking for a solution. Trust me. I have gone through all the lists on the internet that promise to help you manage your anger. But those lists are barely of any help because they don’t look deeper. On the other hand, you have proven strategies at your disposal in this audiobook that will eradicate your anger issues right from their roots.

If you don’t love to read long and boring texts, you are in for a treat because this audiobook has been divided into effective sections and subsections that have broken down all the necessary information into small chunks. This makes listening and understanding easier. You don’t have to spend so much energy trying to understand the jargon.

Here is a summarized version of all the key points that have been mentioned in this audiobook:

  • How to understand that you are facing anger issues
  • How to deal with kids who get angry very easily
  • How to manage toddlers who are too greedy
  • Anger management strategies for all parents
  • Seeking therapy
  • And more

Even if you think that you are not a perfect parent and anger management is not your cup of tea, let me tell you something - no one in this world is perfect. Every parent has flaws. So, don’t let your thoughts make you feel like a failure. You need to work on managing your anger instead of focusing on perfection. In this audiobook, you will find a wide array of advice pertaining to anger management for parents. Not everything might be suitable for your situation. If something is not working out for you, leave it and try some other strategy.

The main aim is to not give up and keep trying. Don’t let your anger make you think you are a bad parent. If you want to deal with your anger issues, all you have to do is buy this audiobook now.

An informative how-to

This book is the best audio guide on anger management for parents! I have searched far and wide for something to help rebuild the bridges I have burned with my children since my ex-wife got custody. This audiobook allowed me to learn to manage my anger outbursts, connect with my children, and what I can do with them. I especially appreciated chapter 3, “Importance of Managing Parental Anger.” It opened my eyes to how badly it affected my kids and what I can do to make it up to them. Overall, an incredible audiobook that I highly recommend to all parents out there.

Incredible help guide

What an incredible guide to managing your anger as a parent! Since my divorce, I have been suffering from anger outbursts, often upsetting my son and daughter. I was not great at controlling my emotions with all the stress, so I decided to look for a self-help guide. This book came up in my “recommended” section, so I decided to give it a listen. I loved the narrator’s voice - it is so soothing! Alongside that, the author has put a lot of thought and hard work into this audiobook – it is a high-quality product with lots of expert advice.

Helped me massively

If not for this guide, I would not have such a strong relationship with my beloved children. I suffered abuse when I was younger, so I developed a bad anger problem growing up. Since then, I found a wonderful man and had four kids, who keep me busy. Unfortunately, my anger caused lots of strain between the rest of my family and me. That was until I got this audiobook. Thanks to the author’s advice, I learned calming techniques and how to re-bond with my children. It is an irreplaceable guide for balls of anger like myself!

Great for short fuses!

Parenting is quite fun, but oh boy, can it get difficult at times! People like me who have three kids and a short fuse need this audiobook in their lives. One of my kids is in her teens, so she has been acting up all the time – I am not the most relaxed man, so we often ended up arguing. A friend suggested “Anger Management for Parents,” and I could not pass it up. I am delighted I got it – it helped me restore my relationship with my kids and bond more with my teenage girl.

The key to understanding anger

This audiobook is the key to understanding anger and how to deal with it as a parent. I have read many guides on anger management, but none came even close to the quality of this audiobook. The author researched anger management and applied it from the perspective of a parent figure. I have struggled as a single mom for years, and I know I can get snappy with my boys, hence why I purchased this. It has all the advice and tested methods you need in order to become calmer and treat your kids right, even in the most stressful of moments.

Phenomenal

A phenomenal audiobook for struggling parents. I do not have anger issues personally, but my wife has a bit of a… short fuse. So I purchased this and listened to it with her in hopes of helping her through the process. Chapter 5, “Secrets to Anger Management for Parents,” was of incredible aid. It had plenty of tips and tricks on understanding anger and how to deal with it while keeping your relationship with your children healthy. My wife has applied the various strategies, and one that we both recommend the most is the “Generalize the Usage of ‘I’” – instead of pointing out what your kid has not done, you subtly let them know your feelings about it first. Simply phenomenal!

However, when you have a child and still have anger management issues, you need a reliable resource to guide you. This guide was it for me. Chapter 3, “Importance of Managing Parental Anger,” is crucial to listen to, as it shows you exactly how anger can affect your family dynamics and how anger management can help. Content feels generic and not very insightful

The books content comes across a collection of platitudes and generic internet blog-quality advice.
It doesn't refer to any research or offer any insight into real people's experiences, it just dryly restates in various forms that anger is a natural thing, but taken too far can be bad, but it is in your power to control it, and you should for the sake of your children - which is what most people probably already know.
The narration is monotonous and flat, and the non-native accent can be distracting.
I don't think this audiobook is worth it at all.
